Want to Earn $100,000 a Year Online? The EASIEST Way to Convert Your Content Into Cash

Is earning a 6 figure income online difficult? How many different "success strategies" will I have to learn? And what is the absolute EASIEST way to get from where I am right now......to where I really want to be? In this article we are going to take a quick and easy look at what I believe is the absolute easiest way to build a lucrative, rewarding and fun online business, as well as answering some common questions about the obstacles many people face along the way. Curious to know more? Continue reading as we take a closer look below!

Is earning a 6 figure salary working for myself a realistic goal?

In my view? Absolutely! And the good news is, you don't need to buy any products or programs to make your income goals a reality. The truth is, if you have PASSION, and can parlay that passion into a PRODUCT, program or service, you have all the ingredients necessary to earn an unlimited amount of income online.

(Predicated of course, that there are other people who share an interest in what you are passionate about).

The Easiest Way to Parlay Your Passion into Profit?

Very straightforward. The key is, you have to be able to codify your content into a "consumable", and learn how to create a profitable process flow as well.

For example?

I use, and really believe in a super simple sequence of steps that works, pretty much completely as follows:

Step 1: You create "seed" content that is designed to generate a community (that would be an article like the very one you are reading right now)

Step 2: You create a continuous conversation with your community, via a combination of automated messages, and broadcast announcements. (this is all done through a commercial grade auto responder)

Step 3: At least once a month, you convert some of your very BEST content into a "curriculum" that you can offer as a premium priced option for the most interested members of your community.

And the best part is, the "type" of content you can convert into a curriculum is pretty much limited ONLY by your imagination.

eBooks still work wonderfully well.

Audio's work even better (and are super simple to create).

Coaching or consulting services are SUPER easy to implement, and due to their highly personalized nature, have a lot of inherent perceived value as well

Membership sites, seminars, tele-seminars, webinars......you NAME it, if you can create it, you can charge for it!

Another "secret" is, don't be ashamed, embarrassed or nervous to charge top dollar.

If you are truly exceptional at what you do, or are willing to learn to become exceptional, you will attract exceptional clients who value the best, and the benefits you bring to boot!

If your goal is $100,00 a year, believe me when I tell you, finding 100 people to buy $1000 worth of your products or services is not difficult.

The key is, and I can't overstate this enough, when it comes to building your business, start with that ONE thing that you love to do, and reverse engineer the rest around it.

Said a bit more simply?

Find your bliss.

And then build your blog, your brand, your business and your bank account around that, and you'll never go wrong!

Making Money Flipping Websites

Do you have some basic website building skills, and want to earn some extra money? Website flipping might be a good route for you. With a little bit of knowledge, you can make some serious money with buying and selling websites.

So what exactly is flipping websites? People who flip websites have no intention of holding onto the web page for the long term. They simply buy or build a new website and then quickly sell them for a quick profit.

The first step is figuring out a topic for the website. This topic needs to be a popular one. The more popular the topic, the higher odds of someone wanting to buy it. After you have your idea you will need to buy a domain name. This is the actual web address. The address should be something simple and easy to remember. You can purchase most domain names for under ten dollars at GoDaddy.com

Next you will need to put something on the website. The easiest way to do this is to install WordPress on the site. WordPress is a free tool that allows you to customize your page with just a few clicks. The results are beautiful and professional looking websites. It will take some time to fully customize your site with meaningful content. Be patient here, your work will pay off in the end.

When the website is complete and online, you will need to drive traffic to it. The more people visiting your site the more it is worth. You can buy ads to drive traffic, post on social networks, or even tell your friends and family. This is the real key to making money here. If you can get people interested in your website then its value will go up significantly.

So you have built the website and generated a lot of traffic to it. I am sure you are ready to cash in on this hard work. Selling the website can be even easier than buying one. Sites such as Flippa.com allow people to buy and sell websites. It works a lot like eBay in that it is an auction site. Simply make a listing detailing your website.

If you are lucky then someone will see your listing and buy your site. Flippa will walk you through the whole process, don't worry. It is important to remember though that Flippa will charge you a fee to sell your website on their site. This is how they make their money. Calculate this figure into your asking price when creating your website.

If all goes well you now have more money in your bank account than what you started with. If you enjoyed the process then you can try to sell another website. The sky is really the limit on how many you can sell or what they can sell for. Sites with serious traffic have been known to sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars. Yours might be the next big winner!

Good luck!

Are You Forgetting the Basics to Increase Your Web Traffic?

Okay, so you have been spending some time working on your website and it looks great. In fact, you have spent a bit of money on web development, graphics, copy, and your hosting costs.

You now are seeing "some" traffic, but it's pretty meager so you are considering what most people do: PPC Ads. Clearly, signing up and spending $50 - $200 a day on Pay-Per-Click Ads will bring you web traffic, but it may not bring you the "conversions" or sales that you want. If you are going to spend up to $1000 a week on PPC ads, isn't time that you take a minute and make sure that you are doing everything to increase your web traffic naturally without the help of advertisements?

Are there a few things that you might be forgetting to do to increase web traffic? The answer is that you probably are. Remember natural or "organic" web search results are often the ones that deliver high conversions rates, because there is something inherent about results that imply credibility to a product or service. In other words, people tend to have more confidence in a website and its product offerings when it comes up on page one, then say, page 10 of Google.

Here are few gentle reminders of what you can do to build up your website page rank on Google or other search engines:

1. Check your Meta Tags, Page Description, and Keywords. Yes, probably have already done this, but a simple keyword search can help you either add to existing keywords, or change them a little. Doing these small changes can dramatically improve your search results.

2. Fresh Content. Google recently came out and said that websites that add fresh content regularly will receive a little more favoritism in their search results. The idea is that the more fresh content you produce, Google rewards. So make it a habit to add to your website at least once a month.

3. Share Buttons. Do you make it easy for your website visitors to share with their friends and family? Today there are so many different social share buttons available for free that adding a button will take less than five minutes. Placing share buttons or specific plugins can help build plenty of relevant traffic.

4. Building links to your site. You have probably already heard that building links is essential, but if you haven't done so or have slacked off a bit, consider building links your next big step. Building links allows people to find your website from a variety of other websites. Remember, to build your links in a relevant websites that are related to yours to help you gain your full potential. For example, if you own a beauty supply store, linking up with a motorcycle shop blog will not do it. Now Google and other search engines reward those sites who have more links because it is often a sure way to determine which sites have a lot of relevance.

Why not increase your website traffic today. Within 24 hours you can have 10 high quality links pointing to your website. It's pretty fast. Check out http://www.buildmyrankreviews.com/

Interactive Ecommerce And Selling Via Social Media

Interactive eCommerce and selling via social media has changed the way that people market and sell to their customers. It has made it easier, more streamline, and more user friendly to both the business and the consumer. If you are trusting your site to do everything for you, then you haven't given enough thought to the way that technology can help you break free from stagnant business and go viral with your product or service, building the possibility for exponential success. Here are the ways that interactive eCommerce and selling via social media can work wonders for your company.

Finding the target audience

Knowing who your target audience is should not be too hard if you have a passion for your business and you know what your customers want and expect from your products and services. However, finding that target audience can be a little more difficult if you are not embracing the wonder of social media. In the old days, there weren't any clearcut ways to tell, but as the Internet caught on, it became easier to track it through analytic tools. But those revealed only so much about who your target audience was and what was important to them. When social media came along, you went from having a very rough sketch of your audience to having a full blown three dimensional picture. Today, you can reach these people on a deeper level and build a bond that goes beyond the basic customer and business relationship.

Building peace of mind in your customers

Interactive eCommerce simplifies the checkout line and makes purchasing an easier and more user friendly experience. It also aids in assuring your customers that their private information will not be misused in any way, and that it is safe from harm. The peace of mind in your customers is highly important to continuing business exploits as there are a lot of ways that online transactions can go wrong without proper protection, and the more interactive and simplified that you make your eCommerce site, the better.

Helping to advertise promotions

With your social media and eCommerce experience, you can quickly and cheaply promote events that allow your target audience savings opportunities. These are also great occasions to get your existing customers help in spreading the word to potentially build more followers. It is important that you do not treat your eCommerce site and social media connections as something stagnant that you forget about once established. You must try to continually bring value to the relationship and help it to grow over time.

Without the functionality of these two features, your work at making a go of the online business will be much tougher and more frustrating than it has to be.

Product Descriptions - The Only Effective Way to Write Them!

Writing effective product descriptions will not just give you the edge you need to compete with hundreds of other websites selling the same or similar products by increasing your traffic and conversions, but will also help you build invaluable brand-loyalty for your e-commerce portal.

Here are some very useful, yet simple tips for writing effective product descriptions:-

1) Know Your Product

Before you sit down to write a product description, study your product thoroughly. Get to know its unique selling proposition, features and benefits. If possible, place the product before you while you write - examine it; feel it! If you are unsure about the product, your uncertainty is likely to come across in your writing, and it will not be convincing.

2) Know Your Target Audience

Take the time to understand your target market. Think about their personality and purchase behaviour; understand their needs and what benefits they seek.

3) Your Writing Style Should Be In Keeping With the Personality of Your Audience and Your Product

What you write and how you write it should be in keeping with the personality of your target audience and your brand. If your brand and its buyers are young and trendy, your copy will have to be casual and hip.

4) Know Which Keywords Your Product Needs to Target

While you should not overly focus on keywords as far as product descriptions are concerned, it's always a good idea to include a few relevant keywords in your content.

5) Mention the Brand Name At Least Twice

Mentioning the brand-name at least a couple of times in your product description, will not only be good for Search Engine Optimization, it will aid brand recall.

6) Highlight Benefits, Not Features

While writing your product description, remember that focusing on features often makes it difficult for average readers to understand the benefits. Spell out the benefits, so the potential buyer clearly understands what is in it for him! Dedicate a separate section for technical specifications or features.

7) Open With a Catchy Line That Talks About the Key Benefit

How you open your description will determine whether the reader will read your entire product description. Opening creatively and building towards the key benefit / USP right from the onset, is always a good idea!

8) End With a Call for Action

End your description with a call for action. Consider the end of your description as a final chance for you to hook your potential buyer.

9) Write Unique Descriptions

Remember that you should only use the product description handed to you by the manufacturer as a general reference point. The company hands the same one out to everyone! Doing a "copy and paste" job will cost you heavily in terms of visitors and conversions, not to mention -- bucks!

So, to sum up your product description writing strategy: Know your target audience and product intimately; sync your writing-style with the personality of your target market and brand; include a few keywords; create brand recall; highlight benefits, not features; arouse interest at the start and include a call for action at the end; and lastly - be creative and different!

Practice these tips, and you will be a pro at writing effective product descriptions, in no time!

My Dream Internet Search Engine (Spam Free)

World Wide Web (WWW) was aimed to create a medium, where individuals and organizations can publish, share, or transfer the information or data at greatly reduced cost and without time delay. Due to availability of skills and its simplicity, those aims could be achieved with such a success that it became day-to-day part of every computer literate individual or organization. The data or information available on WWW is so huge that it needed another sub-medium in the form of "Internet Search Engine" or just "Search Engine" to connect the information seekers to information providers.

Just like a news paper which is a gateway to news of world at your door step, search engines are gateway to the whole world of information available on internet at your door step or in your palms(in case of mobile internet technology). Search Engines collect the data or information from the maximum possible sites and their different web pages (almost all the sites which allow them to do so) with the help of their crawlers or spiders and store it in their respective databases. Technically the number of information seekers which are connected or redirected to the relevant sites is called as "Search traffic". The volume of search traffic is so huge that no website owner can afford to deny their presence on search engine results. In fact, it is very profitable for almost all website owners. It became very essential to remain on top 5 or say 10 in search results to bring traffic to your site.

With the help of some dynamic web development techniques, it was so easy to produce thousands of web pages in one site and such thousands of websites. Now if you know how to get sufficient search traffic you can earn thousands of bugs every month trough advertisements put up on your websites.

Real problems started from here. Unfortunately some notorious people learnt how to rank well on popular search engines or to bring maximum search traffic and make them click on their advertisement slots. In today's scenario whenever we search any information through popular search engines we are directed to the sites which are there with money making as a priority, not the quality of contents of the site.

To counter those unwanted or outdated or sometimes misguiding websites, I strongly advocate below mentioned point to include in the search result ranking algorithm.

"Only web pages which are free from advertisement should be allowed to rank in first 5. Webpages having one or more than one but less than 3 advertisement slots should be allowed to rank in from 6th and 10th. After 10th results existing algorithm may rank them."

Impact of above point to various concerned parties:

Users: Users will be redirected to sites which are not there to monetize their presence through advertisements. It will be easy and less tiring way to search something on internet.
Genuine Content Owners or publishers: Above mentioned point if implemented it will immediately flush out the bogus copy cats from the internet. It will be big relief to genuine content publishers from copy cats. Read one classic example of these copy cats at the end of this point. The genuine information providers like, governmental bodies, research organizations, product manufacturers and service providers, educational institutes, genuine blog writers, news sites, will have to spend less on Search Engine Optimization. Example: One of my friends who owns 8 hotels in India at various tourist destinations. In the early years of his First website he had put his own mobile number on his Hotel Website for two years. It has been more than two and half years he replaced that number with the land line numbers of his hotels. Since then he is getting calls from prospective guest to ask for room availability and facilities. Main reason for this is, search engines still rank those copy cats at top in their results.
Search engines: People think there are only 3-4 search engines in the internet world. But actually, there are at least 10 independent active search engines. Some of them have started in the recent years. Above mentioned points, if implemented, will increase their reliability as a search engine in the market and will be able to monetize their own reputation as a search engine.

If you want to check out how the copy cats provide wrong set of information, search quoted terms in almost all the search engines, see the top ranking sites and their quality as an information provider, " MBA colleges in Pune " and " MBA colleges in Mumbai ". You will notice, top 5 results on almost all search engines are those sites which are there to make money from the advertisements. They are jam-packed with advertisement on their page.

Internet Marketing and Being a Salesman

If you are involved in Internet Marketing, then you have to understand one thing.

Whether you like it or not, you are a salesman.

Maybe you think you are a "marketer" or a "networker" or even a "social bookmarking professional", but the bottom line is, network marketing in all it's forms is one way or another sales!!

Maybe you don't believe that, maybe you hate selling - but it doesn't matter, because - and I will say it again - If you are involved in Internet Marketing, then you are a SALESMAN- that's a FACT.

I'm not sure what your idea of a salesman is. Maybe when you think of a salesman you think of a guy with slicked back hair, a greasy gleaming smile, who can, with clean heart and sound mind, arm twist an 80 year old grandma. He can convince her that she just "must have" that 1200 CC motorcycle because "it will do so much for her hairdo" Then once the sale is done, he rapidly gets the motorcycle delivered, tells his staff he is not available and disappears. Then when the grandmas 330 pound football playing grandson comes around to get the sale reversed, your costumer service staff glibly tells him that they sure are sorry, but you are not available, and besides the "30 minute money back guarantee has expired" so there is really nothing that they can do.

If that is your idea of what a salesman is, then I can understand why you'd never want to be one. I mean who wants to go through life always looking over their shoulder wondering when one of those bad sales is going to catch up with you and rearrange your face? Not MY idea of the "good life" - and I am sure it's not yours.

So if you are doing internet marketing, and thus you are a salesman, it would be good to have an understanding of what that really means - right? Well, let's take a look at this.

To get this thing started you must have some service or article (eBook, info product, course, etc) that you are trying to get someone to buy or use - right? I will assume that this product is valuable - in other words - it does do what it is supposed to so. It works, or it gives the knowledge it is supposed to so someone else can make something work.

Ok, so you have this service or article, and you have told other people about it - maybe even told them a LOT. And this article REALLY WOULD help people do better at what they are doing, or would make them money if they bought it - SOOOOO - why aren't people beating down your door or flooding your website with orders??

Well, bottom line is just plain fear. They have been screwed before, or they don't want to part with their hard earned money, or they are not convinced it is right for them, or that it will work for them. There could be any number of reasons why they would not buy your product - even though it really would help them - and this is where you as a salesman have to step in.

So what is a salesman? What are you trying to do as a salesman?

You are trying to get your service or article into the hands of your customer, for which you get back some sort of exchange (usually money). A salesman insists that people buy. He really cares about the person and cares enough to get them through the stops and barriers that they have put on themselves and helps them to get the service or article that is going to help them succeed. (This is why your product MUST really be valuable - it really does have to help the person make a change in their business, or make their life better. If it does not do that - you will not be in business very long)

In order to be able to handle the stops that the person has, you must be able to relate to that person, you must identify with them. This is not some airy-fairey "Gee, I feel your pain man" and then you slam some product on them they will never use. It has to be real and honest. If after you really understand where this customer is at, and you realize that your product is NOT what they need - then tell them. Say "Hey, what I have is not what your are looking for - it's not going to help you get where you want to go". Be honest, and they will respect you for it. Ok, so you don't get a sale with them - FINE!. You gained their trust and they'll send others your way - as they know you're a sincere and trustworthy person. That alone could be worth ten times more sales then the one you would get with them.

Your responsibility does not stop once the sale is done - no way. You have to follow up and make sure that the person does get you product and becomes a success with your product. You have to get them to use it, to get their questions answered about it, to get some results with it. That is ESSENTIAL, as if they never use it - of course it will not work. If they don't understand it or use it wrongly - of course it will not work. In either case, you're likely to get a refund request.

Now don't get all upset if you get a refund request. It's going to happen - no matter how good your product is or how hard you follow up after the sale - you'll always have a few. People get distracted, they don't really use it, their wife hates them for buying something, etc etc. You are going to get them, so you need to rapidly and in a very friendly manner give the refund. If you do this right - you'll again gain the trust of the person who refunded - as they will at least know you're trustworthy and do what you say.

Now in all honesty, although all these steps do fall under the responsibility of the salesman, you may not be doing them all on your own. If you have your own business, and you are a one man band, then, yes you have to do them all. As you get bigger, take on employees, then some of these things will be delegated or outsourced to others.

Ok lets look at the whole cycle one last time.

You must have a high quality service or article (eBook, info product, course, etc) to sell.

You must know with certainty that your service or article IS valuable and will help others - it will handle the problem that they have. If used and used properly - it does work - no question.

You must then identify your prospects and see that your product and their problem are a match - your product will help them.

You must then insist through your sales letter or direct communication that they get your product. Guide them into purchasing it (there is a lot of data on how to do this - but that will have to be the subject of another post).

Once they have your product, you must ensure that they use it and are successful with it. You do this through your followup.

You also must set up a refund system. You'll always have a few, so make this smooth and honest and you'll gain their respect and even possibly a future sell - as you've shown you are honest and reliable.

There you have it. You may think that's a lot. In reality it's just being a person who really cares about his customers and who helps them get the service or article that is going to make a real change in their life or business. And then because you care, you follow up and make sure that they use your service or article and ARE successful. It's really not so hard. And if you really follow this through, and really care about your customer, you will have gained a customer for life. They will gladly open all your emails, will buy all your future products, will tell others about your service or product - and you'll have an ever expanding list of customers and be the roaring success you always dreamed of.

Believe me, it is worth the effort to do this right - so go out there and be a great salesman.

Top Five Article Directories

There are Hundreds of Directories

There are literary hundreds of directories that a writer can submit articles to. For the sake of simplicity this article will narrow down the number of directories to the Top Five Article Directories for SEO purposes. An article directory is a website where writers or users can submit unique articles that have a link to their own website. The article directories then categorize each article into niche of sorts for later publication on the web. Usually the author of these articles has a website and a link will be put into the article in hopes that the readers of the article will click on the link.

Top Five Article Directories for SEO

Depending on whom you want to believe the top five article directories differ from one list to another. This Top Five Article Directories for SEO comes from Alexa Rating System. In order of appearance on Alexa are eHow.com, Squidoo.com, HubPages.com, EzineArticles.com and Examiner.com. Each one of these websites more or less do the same thing. They take unique articles and place them where they will be seen. Most people are trying to get you to buy what they are selling others just want to convey their ideas. Either way you are bound to get more traffic to your website.

Do you pass the test?

Each of the above website will tell you that they are better than the rest in some respects. Each of them will allow you a 'free membership' for your first 10 articles. For most article directories this is your probationary period. Once your articles are submitted they are scrutinized by the directory to see if you have 'what it takes' to be one of their writers. After your first 10 you will be able to submit as many as you like. They will keep your articles active for a minimum of 180 days or approximately 6 months. Most however, will tell you they will pull some articles to keep their content fresh.

What will they do for you?

Article Directories are a little like eBay. eBay will allow you to set up a store to sell your wares. They tell you that you have to potential to make thousands. That is if someone is interested in what you are selling. The same goes for the directories they will put your articles out on the web in your subject niche but, it is up to the users of the site to locate you.

Who offers the most link juice?

Once again this depends on who you consult. The five we have listed here are in the top 5 because they never gave up trying. It is the old adage 'you get out of it what you put into it'. Anyone can set up an article directory but, many lose interest early on because they aren't making enough money. They either abandon their website all together or they don't pay enough attention to it to make it work. These top 5 started a directory and stuck with it.

Steps to Take When Running an Online Business Starts Running Your Life

At first glance it sounds like the answer to your dreams. When you're running a business online you get to work from home. You're not frantically scrambling to schedule meeting time around naptime...or diaper time...or dinner time...or that hour and a half a day you actually get to spend with the man or woman you married. You can work on your own time, at your own pace, with all of the perks of being your own boss without all of the responsibility.

At some point, you will be brought sharply back to earth by the reality of running an online business. It won't be long before you'll be working long into the night to meet deadlines, taking your laptop along for the ride on vacation, keeping one eye on Twitter on your mobile while you try to watch your son's football game, and calling off all other non-work dates. All the supposed freedom that comes with online working will have turned out to be nothing but a figment of your imagination.

If you hadn't quite realized it before now, you'll soon have to get to grips with the fact that managing a business demands your time 24/7. Working on the Internet at home rather than traveling to an office each day just means that you don't ever get to disconnect from work. It's something you constantly think about, when trying to spend time with the kids, at mealtimes...at any time.

If you're not careful, an online business can burn you out rapidly, more so than regular work can. After all, you don't leave the office behind you at the end of the working day. Going back to the nine-to-five- grind, however, may simply not be for you. You may also have been fortunate enough to have built up a solid client base and you may not want to give this up. So what can you do to avoid burnout?

Establish set work and calling hours for your clientele.

Sure, flexibility is one of the things we appreciate most about working on the web. Believe it or not though, setting up a stable work schedule and sticking to it is the best thing you can do to keep the business you're running from running you over. When you know when you have to work, you know when you get to have a life.

In setting a schedule, make sure that it's going to suit you. Setting aside eight hours a day for your business may work for you; make sure it's no more than ten hours. Then, unless some emergency crops up, make sure you keep to your schedule. When you've finished your work for the day, clear away everything that's work related, and don't pick it up again until the next day. Doing this will enable you to keep work and home separate, and help you to avoid reaching the point of wanting to give it all up.

Focus your 'to-do' list on the 'must-do-today' items.

Running a business means having a constant and ever-expanding list of things to do each day. You need to take control of the list before it controls you. At the beginning of your work day, put together a list of the tasks that must, without fail, be achieved by the end of the day. You're always going to feel that you should have achieved more, but at least with this approach you'll feel safe in the knowledge that you've completed the absolute essentials.

Buy a cell phone that doesn't have Internet.

This advice is offered with caution, and may not be a realistic option for many business owners. I'm one of those people that needs to be able to check my email when I'm out and about, and I have to face up to the consequence that I spend my entire day in work mode. If, however, you find it difficult to get enough distance between your work and home life, it's a great idea to have a phone that is used for nothing but phone calls. You'll ultimately be grateful for being separated from work for a while.

If you want to stay sane and stop your online business from taking over your life, the solution is to compartmentalize your work and home life as much as possible. What are your best ideas for ensuring that online working doesn't drive you nuts?

10 Landing Page Usability Mistakes That Are Costing You Money

Landing pages have one job: compel a visitor to take a desired action. Whether it's making a purchase through a website, registering for a webinar, downloading an eBook, or signing-up for a newsletter, landing pages are all about conversion.

There are just as many things a landing page should do as it should not do to increase conversions. Ignoring the many nuances of the user experience can send a visitor away from the page almost immediately and cost you business.

Avoid these 10 landing page usability mistakes to build pages that convert:

1. A long form process: Make your forms easy-to-use and as short as possible. Give as much as you can, and ask for as little as possible in return. The general rule is to ask for information that is absolutely necessary to complete the current transaction. Nothing makes a visitor want to leave your landing page more than having to fill out a lengthy contact form that captures information that seems unnecessary. While this information may be invaluable to you, asking for too much personal information in your first encounter can cause a visitor to click-away to a competitor.

2. Pop-ups: Landing page usability testing has proven that people do not like pop-ups (or unwelcome surprises) of any kind. Even if it's not an advertising pop-up, the majority of visitors have a knee-jerk reaction to close a pop-up as quickly as possible. This immediate annoyance and the perception of your site as spammy and cheesy can cause visitors to have a negative reaction to your offer, even if it's a product or service they want to buy.

3. Flash: Flash intros are often visually compelling, but they keep visitors from immediately viewing your offer. They grab all of the visitor's attention and waste their time. If given the chance, most visitors will choose the "skip intro" button. Although not as annoying as pop-ups, flash intros force visitors to take another step before accessing what may be a product or service that they can't live without. Don't lose them with flash when you've already succeeded at driving them to your landing page.

4. Ineffective headlines: Considering the fact that prospects will spend only two to three seconds on a landing page, benefit-driven headlines are critical to make them want to read on to learn more about the offer. Lose them on the headline, and you may just lose their business forever.

5. Content that competes for visitors' attention: Another landing page usability mistake is placing multiple offers on one page. This essentially makes you compete with yourself and it disorients visitors. Be clear about your business priorities and have a single dominant conversion goal (all others should be clearly secondary in terms of their visibility and prominence). Short attention spans will compel prospects to click-away from a page that seems too complicated.

6. The same design as your main website: Your main site has navigation links that could distract a visitor from the specific offer on your landing page. If visitors can click on your "About Us" page, they may get lost in the rest of your site and then be gone forever. Create a landing page that includes your branding but also focuses visitors on the task at hand. A micro-site is often a good compromise if you must include deeper supporting information, but at least keep the navigation limited to a single level.

7. Ignoring basic aesthetics: Gaudy landing pages that misuse colors, fonts, clip art, and even highlighted copy are immediate turn-offs. Regardless of the content, a clean design will at least keep a visitor wanting to learn more about your offer. Don't be tacky.

8. Text content that is difficult to scan: Visitors have short attention spans so your landing page usability strategy should include subheads and bullets to break up the copy and highlight the benefits of your offer. Important information should go first since the rest will probably not be read anyway.

9. Bad stock photography: Although industry-specific stock photographs can be visually appealing, overused or poor stock photography can turn off visitors if they perceive your business to be just like everybody else's. It's fine to use high-quality images that are specific to your business, but don't just decorate your page with generic images.

10. Not having a strong call-to-action: In addition to the headline, the call to action is one of the most important pieces of copy that impacts landing page usability. It's what ultimately makes a visitor click-through to your offer, so it should always include a benefit statement. If there is more than one call-to-action, the first one must be prominent and above the fold to help visitors prioritize.

Avoid these common mistakes and start making your cash register ring more often.

How to Start a Business With No Money the Fast Track Way

Only just a few years ago if you had asked someone how to start a business with no money they would have told you to talk to the bank manager. That is fortunately not the case these days as you can easily get an enterprise off the ground and turning a profit in next to no time with no money. The Internet has made this possible as it has erased the need to have a physical premises from which to operate out of.

In fact you really don't need much at all to start an online business. You won't even need an office to work from and you won't need to worry about getting a logo designed for you or getting pens or photo-copier paper.

You can transfer all that stuff to the virtual world. So, learning how to start a business with no money means learning how the Internet works. And guess what? That is a minimal amount of information too, as the Web has come a long way even in the few short years that it has been in existence.

It used to be the case that the Internet was a technical place to get involved in. You had to know all the coding language and you had to know your way around the hardware and servers and all that stuff. That is not the case now as everything you could possibly need to run a business has been turned into push button interfaces.

It gets better as this stuff is all free. You don't have to pay a dime to get a commercial Internet presence. You can get a website for free and you can get all kinds of designs for free. You can get the tools you need to customize your site for nothing. You can even get a free e-commerce store front that will allow you to display your products and take all kinds of payments.

Contrast this with the thousands it takes to get an offline business off the ground and profitable. It takes something like an average of $12000 to get a new business started. Who has $12000 lying around? Not too many people I'll bet. So, if you don't have the money to get your business running you will have to go to the bank and ask for a loan. And that is a whole different ball game.

Getting a website up and running, getting some products displayed on it and the getting interested customers to come and look at what you have got. That is how to start a business with no money. There is no need to go through the stress and the strain of taking loans out and putting your house up as collateral. You don't need to risk your whole life savings to do this. Just pick from the many business models there are and get started. It is that simple.

The traditional route is not how to set up a business with no money. Even if you could get someone to just gift you the money remember that having an office or a shop requires a lot more weekly and monthly monetary input than just an Internet connection.

This is the fastest and most fun way to do it. The alternative is going massively into debt and risking the failure of everything you dream. Or you could simply do nothing at all and just dream of a better lifestyle. Best not to do that and get your hands on these free business plans that can be started for nothing today.

SEO for Business: Selecting and Implementing the Most Effective Keywords and Keyphrases

Considering the vast number of internet searches carried out every day by people all around the world, picking the right keywords or keyphrases for your business website is fundamental to SEO success. Whether you're focusing on paid search, organic search, or a pay per click (PPC) campaign, failing to identify the most important keywords and keyphrases for your business will harm your ability to effectively market to your target audience. The following suggestions will help you select the most appropriate keywords and keyphrases, and demonstrate how to use them effectively as part of your ongoing online marketing strategy.

Attracting Your Target Market

Any business serious about improving their SEO power will soon find that single keywords are rarely used as a successful way to attract relevant traffic to a website. Using more specific keywords in groups of two or more will minimize online competition and attract more qualified traffic. This should ultimately lead to more genuine interest in your products and services and convert into more sales.

Focusing on the keywords and keyphrases that best represent your company, products, and services will help to shape the overall content strategy of your website. Keeping this concept in mind will ensure your visitors are more likely to remain on your website for longer, and ensure you are not misleading Google or your potential customers with underhand SEO tactics.

Positioning Keywords and Keyphrases for Greater SEO Power

Because every page of your business website is important to your SEO power, it's essential to exploit every opportunity to maximize keywords and keyphrases. Remember that specific elements of your site's HTML code are used by search engines to rank your site. If you don't have access to this code, it would be worthwhile asking your web developer for help. For example, the page titles and meta description tags are recognized by search engines to determine the relevance of your website.

Including keywords repeatedly in the content can make your content unreadable. Many sites are still guilty of keyword-cramming, and this only frustrates visitors who are simply looking for relevant information. To increase your SEO power, include valuable keywords in the links on your site, and in the Alt Tags to each image on your site. Another effective way to boost your rankings with the search engines is to use your primary keywords within your actual domain name. Before you even secure your domain name, research the most effective keywords for your sector of the market.

Investing the Time in Analytics Software

Too many businesses fail to update their websites to make them constantly relevant to search engines. Investing in software like Wordtracker will help you focus on the most effective keywords and keyphrases for your specific business sector.

Using Google's Adwords Keyword Research Tool or Google Insights for Search, you can examine search volume patterns across a number of different categories, including a specific regional search, which could help you focus on key geographical areas of your customer base. With this simple yet powerful SEO tool, you can identify related keywords that you may have overlooked. For example, people searching for hair products might also be searching for comparison and review sites for the same products. Effective SEO is all about attracting the relevant potential customers to your website.

The Importance of Engaging Prospects

It can be difficult to compete with larger websites, when these sites have so many pages to repeat their keywords and keyphrases to improve their SEO power. Consider adding more pages to your website with relevant keywords to highlight your relevance to the search engines. Another effective strategy is blogging. By regularly updating a blog with fresh material, you can help increase the frequency of keywords and keyphrases throughout your site. Contributors to your blog will also be adding regular content that is in line with your marketing material and sales strategy.

Always listen to your customers and prospects. With consistent engagement, you can determine the most popular words and phrases people use to describe your business, products and services. This can help with compiling a more natural and appropriate set of keywords and keyphrases to use on your site.

By carefully researching the most effective keywords and keyphrases, you can make your website not only relevant to your potential customers, but also relevant to the major search engines. Use your research to drive your overall content strategy, but always remember to maintain a user-friendly website that is attractive and relevant to any potential visitor. Following these guidelines should enhance your search engine rankings, improve website traffic, and give you a better return on investment for your SEO efforts.

Who else thinks that $75 an hour to work online sounds too good to be true? Think you need to be a guru, or have years and years of experience, or need to do something unethical to earn $50, 75 or even $100 dollars per hour online? The truth is, while it may sound like a pipe dream right now... with a few simple skills that 99% of us have right now, you can literally write your OWN ticket to financial freedom in the future.

In this article we are going to take a quick and easy look at a few super simple ways you can earn GREAT money online from home starting THIS month... and answer a few common questions most newcomers have as well. Curious to know more? Continue reading as we take a closer look below!

What is the EASIEST way to launch a successful online business with the LEAST amount of overheard possible?

Great question... and one that dovetails very nicely with what I'm going to share with you below. In my view, the absolute easiest way to get started online is to adopt a philosophy I call "The Strategy of Straight Lines". It incorporates 4 very simple business building elements that everyone can understand, and works exactly as laid out below.

First you create CONTENT (articles like this one are a perfect example)

You use that content, or those articles to build a community (you do this typically through an opt in form)

You follow up with that community with an auto responder sequence of messages designed to deepen the rapport and relationship you share with your readership

Lastly... you create (or find) a curriculum, or something to sell your subscribers that deepens their understanding, education or enjoyment of the niche. Good ideas here are either a high paying affiliate product (anything with a published EPC of over 75 or so) or of course, your OWN product or service that you can price around your own expertise, and the value you can offer to your community.

Here is the funny thing... Julie, my friend and client actually does only one of the things above.

She creates content, for her niche and SELLS it to to the highest bidder. (or gets offered contract work to produce multiple articles at a time that are re-purposed or published by her clients)

At $25 for a 500 word article... she uses a little egg type of timer, writes one new article every 20 minutes, and literally has turned her passion and "prose" into perpetual piles of profit.

As a matter of fact... she does SO well with this, that she wont' take my advice and start her OWN business in the niche above, as she figures... why do any more work, when she's already making as much as her husband... without having to spend 3 years in law school to boot! (and so TOO can you)

The bottom line?

He (or she) who creates the content not only is king... but has a cacophony of creative ways to earn cash as well. The simple tips above are easy, do NOT require a big investment to test, and you don't need any gurus, gimmicks or goofiness to earn a full time living, THIS month.....if you start today!

Is Writing Articles a Good Way to Make Money Online? (The Can't Lose Method You Must NOT Miss)

What is the easiest way to make easy money from home? Is it MLM? Affiliate marketing? Learning SEO? What about filling out surveys, keyword research, autoblogging or becoming a social media marketing "master"? And what about the idea of learning how to create CONTENT, and using that content to earn cold hard cash?

In this article we are going to take a quick and easy look at converting your content into cash, as well as answering some common questions that many online marketing "newbies" have before they begin to rake it in. Curious to know more? Continue reading as we take a closer look immediately below!

What do you mean by writing articles, anyway?

Good question! The truth is, there are many lives, and many masters for the entrepreneurial content creator. If you are willing to work......the good news is, you can literally pick your poison (or profit) center when it comes to turning words into income.

You can sell affiliate products with article syndication

You can use articles to build a list and sell you OWN products and services

You can create content to promote other sites, services, agencies and offers... by driving traffic to THEIR stuff instead of yours (and if you can build up your brand a bit, you can actually get paid big bucks in the process if you position yourself as a PR agency or social media maven).

You can even SELL your content for cash outright....literally earning $25-$75 an hour from jump, by finding people who need niche content and creating it for them! (there are tons and tons of sites and services that cater to creative content creators, and if you are willing to write and do a little bit of research, you can have a business in a box in a week or less... FLAT!)

The home based business, or online entrepreneurs secret?

The best content to create is that which promotes you! If you can coach, teach, train or help others succeed, and are willing to lead the way....you can literally use articles like this one to build a readership of millions, and sell your own personal products or services to a small subset of your community, who will be willing to to get inside access to YOU (through your products, programs or most optimally, coaching programs in the niche you have authority and expertise).

Remember, whether you are an experienced affiliate, a newbie, or a passion professional like myself, the truth is content is KING, and if you focus on creating lots of it, so too will your business become! (and on a shoestring budget to boot!)

One Day Closer to Success

We are now 3 weeks into the New Year, plenty of time for people to have gotten started making changes in their lives for the better. Have you made any progress towards the goals that you have set for yourself this year? You may have decided to start an online business and thoughts of it being very successful in a short time period have you so excited that you can hardly stand it.That's great But, and there are some buts that almost everyone faces when starting a new business, what are you going to do 3 months down the road and you've made little or no money.

The Internet allows many people to make a very good living doing a multitude of different services and business's. That being said, its' important to note that everyone who starts an online business is not immediately or even eventually successful. Why is it that some CAN DO and some CAN'T DO? Can't do is probably not the right word for those who don't succeed on the internet. It's better said that they DON"T DO what is necessary to be successful.

The online business owners who are successful believe that they can and will own and operate a thriving business. They are willing to go all in when it comes to spending the time that is needed to learn their business. There are many sites on the internet such as forums, articles, and blogs that give free information. News letters from business's in your niche are sometimes helpful. Many business's give out a small measure of free information to try to get and keep you as a customer. The library is a great place to get free information. You may have friends and coworkers that have experience with the internet that your not aware of and they might be able to help you. It never hurts to ask!

Of course there are many companies that will teach you your business and even maintain parts of it for a fee. You can find a business that will help you for any kind of need that you have with your business. There is nothing wrong with this approach. Many companies, large and small, use other companies to help them reach their goals. A successful business owner will spend money to reach the goals he has set for his company if that's what it takes to be successful. The bottom line is that a CAN DO business owner will do whatever it takes to be successful!

It is imperative that a business owner learn his business. Knowledge will take you a long way. If you should happen to find yourself 3 months down the road from starting your online business and you've made little to no money, don't despair, don't give up, don't lose your excitement. Your one day closer to being successful than you were yesterday. Take the time to EVALUATE your goals and your business. Make the necessary ADJUSTMENTS and take the appropriate STEPS. The only way you fail is to Quit.

Website Legal Documents - FTC Cracks Down On Toolbars For Collecting Personal Information

The Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) recent settlement against an online college savings program that used toolbars to collect personal information focused on what its members were actually giving away unwittingly - their personal information and data security - rather than on what they might be saving for college expenses.

The settlement in this case highlights the FTC's continuous efforts to crack down on privacy and data security violations regarding the collection, use, and security of personal information. This time the focus was on the use of toolbars as a collection vehicle, and the related takeaways are in the form of important new rules for the use of toolbars or similar software for collecting personal information.

The Toolbar

The defendant online service provides a membership program that permits its members to contribute to a savings account for college expenses. The contributions to the savings account are in the form of rebates and discounts from products and services purchased by members from participating merchant partners.

As part of its service to members, the service offers a software toolbar that is supposed to assist members in finding participating merchants based on online searches. Downloading and installing the toolbar is a default setting for members because in some instances the user is required to uncheck the toolbar option in order to opt out of the toolbar download.

Members using the toolbar are offered an "Enable Personalized Offers Option" for their browsers that enables the collection of information about the websites they visit for purposes of identifying participating merchants that provide eligible offers and discounts.

This toolbar and the privacy promises accompanying it are the basis of the FTC's lawsuit against the membership service.

Privacy Policy Statements

The membership program's privacy policy stated that that the toolbar might "infrequently" collect some personal information. In addition, the privacy policy stated that a filter would remove personal information prior to transmission.

Significant to the FTC were additional statements in the privacy policy apparently intended to create trust from members including:

* [We are] "committed to earning and keeping your trust";

* "We understand the need for… personal information to remain secure";

* "We have implemented policies and procedures designed to safeguard your information"; and

* "We protect your data by… SSL, Data, and Password protection technology…."

The FTC's Allegations

The FTC alleges that the membership service engaged in unfair and deceptive trade practices by:

* using a toolbar for the collection of personal information that exceeded the frequency and scope of the data collection promises by collecting extensive information including the names of all websites visited, all links clicked by the user and information that users entered into certain web pages, such as usernames, passwords, search terms, credit card information, expiration dates, security codes and social security numbers,

* transmitting data in clear text and thereby allowing third parties to easily intercept and steal data transmitted over the Internet,

* failing to disclose material facts to consumers regarding data collection and transfer practices, and

* failing to provide reasonable and appropriate security for the consumer information collected.

Conclusion - Important Settlement Takeaways

The settlement takeaways in this case are important for all Internet marketers that distribute toolbars or similar software (referred to by the FTC as "Targeting Tools") for the collection of personal information.

Two settlement takeaways are noteworthy in terms of the FTC's requirements for clear and prominent disclosures:

* timing - the disclosures must be before the installation of the toolbar or other similar software, and

* context - the disclosures must appear separately from any end user license agreement, privacy policy, terms of use page, or similar document; traditional disclosures in these documents are no longer sufficient standing alone.

Although the settlement does not mention "Privacy By Design" per se, the settlement takeaways listed above are consistent with the FTC's commitment to this new approach to privacy first announced in the FTC's Preliminary Staff Report issued in December, 2010.

How to Start an Internet Business: Some Key Ideas for a Successful Beginning

In any business you need a clear idea of where you want to go. Never is this more valid than when planning how to start an internet business. There are so many different ideas available that it is extremely easy to get swamped with information.

So where do you start?

The answer - at the beginning.

Now that may seem obvious, but let me elaborate this statement for you.

The beginning in how to start an internet business depends on what you choose to do.

Do you want to start an eBay business? Then you will need to figure out how to get stock, where to source packaging and how to check competitors pricing.

Do you want to provide a writing service? You would be advised to check out sites like Odesk and Elance to see what competition there is. Perhaps you want to provide specialist writing, i.e. technical manuals. You would need to check what businesses needed this service and what they would expect to pay.

Do you want to create a website? You would need to either learn HTML and css coding, or get software that does it for you. In addition you would need to find a host and know how to upload your site.

There is a wealth of knowledge required for any pursuit online. While the information is all there it does take time for any of us to digest it and really know what we are doing.

So my advice is start at your beginning and figure out what you need to know. Then, start taking steps to put it into action (and try not to be diverted along the way).

When you are on this path you need to take things slowly. It is all too easy to think you have everything figured out and suddenly hit a wall. Make sure that you understand the pitfalls as well as the overall route. Too many internet marketers tend to go into high gear before they understand how to drive in low gear, and then wonder why they crash and burn.

You are not in a race in marketing. It is nice to get the high income, but experience and knowledge are what get you there.

Finally - and this is where most people fail - complete the journey. After you know how to start an internet business don't let anything get in the way until you've learned the second half of the equation...

...How to get to the end of an internet business.

Understanding B2B Leads

If your business has reached a point where in-house lead generation is no longer effective, then it is time to consider buying B2B leads. But the thing is buying B2B leads isn't as simple as Googling for a source and purchasing 1000 leads in the hopes of getting your business back on track. Because purchasing B2B leads involves money and could determine the next direction of your company, you have to know what you are buying.

B2B Lead Generation is basically known as business to business leads generation. It is often used by modern online companies to increase the sales of products and services.

B2B leads are sold depending on the policy of the company that is selling them. There are practically two types of leads: exclusive and shared leads. When you buy exclusive leads, you have exclusive rights to use them in any way you want. Shared leads, on the other hand, can be resold to a number of clients, hence other businesses like you might be using the leads that you have. Obviously, exclusive leads are more expensive than shared. But the more leads are sold, the less quality they become.

In recent years thought, marketing companies have moved out of "shared" leads system. Instead, they are moving towards a dynamic marketing program that specifically targets the need of the clients. Leads are now designed to a particular product or business. This way, businesses receive leads with higher conversion rate and not just leads of random names and email addresses.

Lead generation services employ different policies depending on the type of product you will buy. Still, one thing remains the same: every lead received is already familiar with the company you represent or products and services you are offering.

For any company to be successful in the highly competitive world of business, only having a good product, cutting edge technology and a strong workforce is not enough in itself. Top priority has now been shifted to business-to-business lead strategies. This shift will help current businesses in locating and targeting the B2B customers that are really important for their business.

Ultimately B2B lead generation is all about working together as a team to generate the results that you need to grow your sales. B2B lead generation firms focus on their experience and industry knowledge combined with your product and company knowledge to ensure that you're getting the sales leads that you want.

Find Out What A Niche Market Really Is

A niche market by definition is a focused and precise market. Selling to a niche market means selling products or services to customers that other suppliers are not. A niche market, therefore, implies selling products or services that are not available anywhere else. This is, in essence, the benefit of such a market; a person or company supplying products or services to a niche market has the advantage of being the only supplier and therefore gets to claim all the profits.

As an example, mainstream suppliers may supply crockery made out of normal materials for households, restaurants and various other customers. A person or company aiming for a niche market, however, will look to do something different, something that other mainstream suppliers are not supplying the market; that person or company may look to sell crockery only made out of crystal. While the mainstream suppliers are supplying crockery to the market, the market can only get crystal crockery from that singular person or company. As mentioned earlier, that exploiting such a market allows the crystal crockery supplier to enjoy undivided profits.

Unfortunately, while the idea of taking advantage of a niche market would seem quite attractive to a majority of people, finding one is not always easy. Discovering this type of a market that nobody else has ventured into is not always easy, in fact considering the fast pace of growth in a large number of markets has made delving into niche markets more and more difficult. Luckily, there are a few ways that can help you realize that such a mark out there waiting for you. Here are some steps that will bring you closer to developing your own niche market:

- Firstly, think about what you are good at. You need to be certain about the set of talents that you have and what kind of business venture would suit you best. You also need to analyze the information and knowledge you already have and see how you can make them work for you. As an example, if you are an expert in Information Technology, then it is probably best if you explore this field further for finding a niche market. Summing it up in a few words; play to your strengths.

- Secondly, if you have come up with an idea, think about whether anybody would want the product or service you are willing to offer. Figuring out something that is not available anywhere else only to discover that the reason it was not available in the first place was that nobody wanted it is going to be quite disappointing.

- Thirdly, if you cannot figure out what new product or service you can introduce, take a look at the one already in existence. See how you can improve or change the products and services already available and alter them to capture the market.

These are a few important things to remember if you plan on setting out to get your hands on a niche market, keep them in mind and good luck!

Chat Rooms: The Different Types

A chat room is synchronous conferencing over the Internet (and occasionally asynchronous conferencing). There are several types of chat rooms. Your choice should be based on your particular needs/preferences. There are dedicated chat rooms that are basically websites whose sole purpose is offering chatting features. Some of these chat rooms are free while you have to pay to join others.

Another type of chat place is instant messaging or IM. This is basically real-time text-based chat. The text-based chat room is the oldest form of chat place. It could also be online forums, and fully-immersive graphical social environments. There has been a rise in the use of voice rooms. Some voice chat rooms incorporate both voice and text while others are exclusively voice rooms. Social networking sites such as Facebook also have chatting features.

Chat places are also categorized based on the chat script they are based on. These include:
Java: These chat rooms work with all Web browsers, and they even work on Java script enabled phones. You however need to change the settings of your browser to enable Java.
Flash: These rooms are powered by Adobe Inc.'s Macromedia Flash Player client, and they are integrated into websites. You therefore need to install the Flash Player before you can use the chat. Flash Player is available for download free of charge.
IRC: IRC (Internet Relay Chat) is a multi-user chat place network. People can meet here, and talk in private or in channels. You require an IRC client to connect to an IRC server, which in turn connects you to different IRC networks.
MIRC: Yet another option is MIRC, which is a small computer program allowing you to use IRC. MIRC is available for download free of charge.

chat places are also categorized based on their theme. Some of the most popular rooms are dating. They are designed for people who are searching for relationships. There are dedicated dating chat places such as those designed for teenagers, for divorced people, and for gay people. Most of these rooms feature public and private rooms. There are religious chat rooms that allow people of the same faith to fellowship together and to interact. There are also chat place for the disabled, for people in the same line of work, and for people with similar interests such as sports, movies, and music.

Gaming rooms are established for people who play online games. These games are mostly incorporated in gaming websites, and they allow people to chat as they play each other and even when they are not playing. Online gaming is very popular and there are therefore many gaming places.

Are you just really busy? Do you have to figure out a way to get everything done on your to-do list with no time to do it? The good news for you is there are options to take care of tasks online. You can order prints online through various different services that will print and deliver to you in no time at all.

There are online stores available that will allow you to order and print your own document files and photos and have them mailed straight to your house in as little as next-day service. If you are in need of mass production of booklets, brochures, business cards, calendars, professional envelopes, flyers or even just one single poster you can have your prints done for you and delivered in a timely fashion.

Services like these are used for all different types of situations. Upcoming events, sales, businesses and supplies can all be printed from the internet by setting up the file for printing online.

If you don't have a file that matches the correct format that the company is asking, there is a way around it. You will have to contact the company to discuss the project and they can provide you a custom quote. You can hold a color match to that as well by sending the file that you have and talking to them about it so they can have the color matched perfectly.

If you have bleeding edges you will be able to have it fixed but it might cost an additional charge depending on the company you are going to work with. There is always a customer service number for you to call that you can talk to about everything.

You should keep in mind their file types that they are accepting for uploading it to the site. If it is within your power to use the compatible file types then it is the best idea to go for that rather than another type that you will have to call in for because it may cost an additional charge for you and could take a longer time for you to get your prints back.

Print companies that are online are made to give you quality prints and convenient service so that you don't have to go out of your way and lose time in your busy schedule of going somewhere and doing it yourself. These companies are skilled and knowledgeable in how to make the best most professional looking prints they can for you.

Tools of the Trade - HTML

HTML is the language of the internet. It tells your browser what to show a visitor and where to show it. You can build a perfectly presentable site without knowing a line of HTML, the Site Building software that comes free with your internet hosting package, or you download as free open source software (a Google search for Free Site Builder Software comes up with more than 24 million hits), or even buy will build you a fine looking site but a look at the source coding will show you just how 'clunky' the coding can be.

Note if you are using Internet Explorer you can see your source code - or anyone else's come to that - by calling up a site then pressing f12. A strip will open at the bottom of the page. Click on view (on the bottom menu) and then on 'Source'

On any site the actual text and images that you see form only a tiny part of the whole source coding. The rest are instructions created by the programmes you use to generate your site. Yours are the black bits!

Most of the multi-coloured material you see there is concerned with the conventions of the browser community and cannot be removed without damaging the site, but some at least of the clunkier code can be dispensed with.

I set up a test paragraph:

Look at my test paragraph.

My site builder renders it with - ignoring the brackets which can't be rendered on this site with:

One pair of 'class' tagsTwo pairs of 'span' tagsThree pairs 'style' tagsOne pair of p tags

In amongst all this is my text 'Look at my test paragraph.'

Whereas all it really all it needs is one pair of 'p' tags.

The site builder's version works, but the message is lost in the HTML, and may or may not be found by the search engines.

Anyway leaving the 'clunky' argument aside, HTML is easily learned though there is rather a lot of it. Most of the site builders enable you to do it as an option. The newcomer can make do with just a very few tags - the HTML instructions marked out by being in angle brackets. HTML tags come in pairs a start tag and an end tag. The end tag is the same as the start tag but with the addition of a '/'.

So a 'p' in angle brackets means start a paragraph and '/p' also in angle brackets means end a paragraph as shown above.

Other basic tags are:

P and /p for paragraphsh1 and /h1 and for a major headingh2 and /h2 for a secondary heading and h3, h4 and h5 for lesser headings.strong and /strong for bold text.

There's much more than this of course - but maybe next time.

Website Traffic System Everyone Is Talking About (Start Your Internet Business Today) - Part 13

Here's one question one of my subscribers asked me recently...

Question - You have 50 products in your sales funnel. That's amazing to me. I don't even have one product. Writing articles for me can be difficult, I don't know why. I hope to write articles as easy as you one day. Thanks for answering my questions. I am going to start writing some articles now. How can I motivate my self to write more articles daily?

Answer - The best way to motivate yourself to write articles is to give a value to your article in terms of the dollar amount, traffic and leads each article will get you.

If you are starting out and you don't have a number to assign to each article give some assumed number. For example:

1 article - 10 visitors - 3 leads - $30 profits

This is how the numbers look for me. When you write one article just feel that you have already made $30 profits.

Keep the momentum going and write more articles and now focus on how you can make these numbers a reality. If you focus on this from now even though you don't have one single product your mind will actually set up the circumstances to get things in place.

It actually happens one step at a time.

You first write 100 articles and then you evaluate the traffic you are receiving. Then you try to increase your article traffic doing some testing.

You then try to increase your squeeze page conversion.

When you have leads coming in you set up your front end product for maximum conversion.

Then you focus in creating more products, preferably coaching programs, high ticket packages and membership sites that will increase your per lead value.

When you do all this and you have a powerful product funnel you will get your numbers in place.

When you have your numbers tracked down then you can actually outsource most of your traffic stuff like article writing and submission and focus exclusively in increasing the value per lead of your entire sales funnel.

This is how every thing comes into place.

Whether you write 1 article per day or 10, make sure you set your article numbers and get started from day one.

If you focus blindly on writing and submitting articles you will notice that you don't get any results and then you get de-motivated. This will not be the case if you track everything.

Your testing results will motivate you to write more articles, give you self-confidence and you will love the process because you know you will be growing every single day.

Transitioning Your Business to the Internet - The Mobile Solution

As a small business owner have you found it challenging to manage all the technology and your websites? Has the era of mobile devices added one more thing to the mix and yet you still continue, wondering how you can better connect with your prospects and clients?

Well, there's good news as new mobile platforms are providing better and cleaner user experiences. But the major challenge is that some websites just don't load very well on mobile devices and this leads to a frustrated searcher who might be a bit upset by the time they reach you by phone or arrive at your doorstep.

As technology advances and mobile continues to play an even bigger role, you better be prepared as more and more people come online and transition to web enabled mobile devices and tablets. It's so important that you as a small business owner or professional make sure that your current website is visible and easy to navigate but also include a mobile website into the mix.

The great news is that with a mobile website you can reach searchers more often because they are instantly connected to web with their mobile device. This is not to say that they won't be using your main site, but it will enable the person seeking you out to better connect and have less technical issues.

The three initial steps to setting up a mobile site are: 1. Finding a qualified, experienced web tech who has built and tested mobile sites; 2. Building out the site - as soon as possible; 3. Continually testing plus surveying your prospects and clients.

Here are the three steps, so you can get started as soon as possible.

1. Find a Qualified Web Technician who has experience building mobile sites. This way you can get your mobile website up and running as soon as possible. It's important to work with an individual or company who knows the mobile landscape and completely understands all the ins and outs of the technology and how it affects and interacts with mobile devices and the associated browsers.

2. Build a Simple Mobile Website and start out with what I call easy navigation. This process makes it really easy for the searcher to view the most important aspects of your website. Easy Navigation includes a map locator for finding your business, contact information to easily get in touch with your company, location and hours of operation (if you work in the offline and need people to find you), and then 2 to 3 buttons that are specific to your business. Remember, keep your mobile website simple, updated, and easy to navigate.

3. Continually Test Your Mobile Site and survey your prospects and clients to make sure that what you are offering is the best experience. Only add navigation that is absolutely necessary and enhances this experience, because the more buttons you add the more complicated it becomes for the person who is searching.

Advice On Increasing The Traffic To Your Website

Many business owners started out as beginner computer users. These tips will show you the way to success.

Give your campaign a personal touch. Sign your name to any advertising copy and add your photo to your sales page. It might be a good idea to have some sort of handwritten statement that welcomes your visitors to your site.

If you plan to use banner ads, your best bet is to create ads that stand out from the norm. An exciting or interesting banner ad will attract more attention and inspire more clicks.

Don't let your relationship with new customers end at the point of sale. Promote reviews for your products that customers can write and post to your website.

When sending out e-mails, regardless of whether the e-mail is business related or a personal one, you should always have a signature on all e-mails. Your e-mails are like your business cards on the internet. You should make sure they are spread as far as possible. This is a great way to connect with people and seem more accessible, which will in turn boost revenue and traffic to your site.

Keep up to date on the various websites that offer services similar to yours. Check out the websites of similar businesses and see what it is that they can improve upon. Find out what areas of service your competition doesn't provide that you do and highlight these differences on your site.

The advertisement of your product should always be positive and inspiring. Tell people about the benefits that they will receive and the goals that they can reach by purchasing what you have to sell. Encouraging your audience to use your product to follow their dreams will make them much more likely to buy.

Discover the proper use of HTML tags. HTML tags serve to indicate how important various content is within your website. Search engines take emphasized text into account when determining rankings. You should make it a point, then, to emphasize your most important keywords.

Most mobile phone companies allow you associate a specific business number with your phone. Getting a number isn't difficult, so make the time to do it.

Creating fresh content for dozens of profiles takes time and effort. Pick the ones that are most effective for your niche and focus your efforts on providing quality updates. Profiles that have not been updated recently are often viewed as spam.

Email is a very important factor in communicating with your potential clients. Newsletters can provide vital information to your audience and also persuade them to buy! You need to make sure the customer understands you are giving them pertinent information, instead of spam. Even after your customers leave your website, your newsletters will allow you to maintain contact with them and assure them that you are invested in their continued business.

If you have a smaller online business that you are promoting, carefully choose the information that you provide customers with. Your content should be informative, unique and accurate. You want people who visit your site to learn something about your business and you also want to make sure that you keep the information updated regularly.

If you want to buy a great domain name for your website, it will cost you. It is likely that you will not be able to find a perfect match between your domain name and your business. You can find one that will be close, though it will cost you around $1,000 - $2,000 to obtain it.

You will not become a professional overnight. Use this advice to reach your ultimate goal.

Website Traffic System Everyone Is Talking About (Start Your Internet Business Today) - Part 7

The kind of internet business setup I have done I earn $30 per article in the long run from my sales funnel. Every article in my system gets me approximately 10 visitors and 3 leads in my sales funnel.

My sales funnel contains exceptional value for my subscribers where I have created approximately 50 products that give high value to my leads.

This helps me in earning $10 profits from every lead that gets into my sales funnel.

If you calculate I earn approximately $30 profits from every article in my funnel.

If I get freelancers to write my articles it will cost me $3 per article, which is again a 1000% return on investment if I earn $30 per article. The fact is that this is not difficult to achieve. You have to develop this speed if you wish to create a long-term profitable internet business.

The reason why most people say article marketing does not work is because they just try writing one or two articles per day and they expect a tsunami of traffic. It is tough to get this kind of traffic with a handful of articles and the only way you can get tons of visitors is if you get lucky, some one picks up your article and broadcasts it to his list of 10,000 subscribers.

When a newbie gets started in a new niche he cannot expect to write 10 articles a month and then expect one of them to get in the hands of an ezine publisher who will mail out to his list.

The reason you should focus in knowing how many visitors, leads and revenue each article will get you on an instant and long-term basis is that once you have these numbers you can control your article traffic.

If you know that one article will get you one lead instantly and you are starting out in a new niche where you want to make $100 the first month, you will have a plan. All you need to do is write 100 articles this month, you will get 100 leads instantly, do a mail out of an affiliate product and you will sell few of these products. This will give you control of your article traffic.

Article traffic is unpredictable therefore you have to get your numbers right. This will give you confidence of the value per article and you can then determine the traffic and revenue you wish to get this month and in the long run.

It's Not Easy Setting Up An Online Business, Here's Why - Part 1

Do you think setting up an online business is easy? Think again... Do you know what it takes to set up a complete online business from scratch that spits out profits on autopilot?

If it was really that easy everyone would be making a killing online and there wouldn't be just 1% success rate, in fact 99% people who attempt to start an online business fail (that's the stats I have read all over the net).

So what it takes to set up an autopilot system in place. Here's what you will have to do to get started...

1. You will have to research a profitable niche.

2. You will then have to set up a list building machine. To do this you will need...

* A free giveaway to give your subscribers.
* A high converting well designed squeeze page.
* Follow up emails to promote your products.
* Content emails to keep your subscribers interested.
* Relationship building system to build trust and relationship with your list.

To set up your website and list building machine you will need...

* A well designed site. For this you will have to probably hire a website or a graphic designer if you're not technically sound.
* You will need a domain name and hosting service.
* You will need an auto-responder, this is very important.
* You will require an affiliate management system so you can recruit your affiliates or JV partners in future.

3. You will now periodically survey your list and ask them their problems and get product ideas.

4. You will have to go about creating your own products. If you thought that just 1 product would be sufficient, think again...

Your first few products in your funnel will just break even your advertising cost, you will need at least 10-20 solid products to boost your profits per lead.

5. You will have to drive traffic to your squeeze page from various sources.

6. You will have to communicate with your list and build solid relationship with them so that they open and read your emails and click through your links.

7. Here are the 3 types of products that will generate bulk of your revenue...

* You will have to create high ticket products in the range of $500 to $1000.
* You will have to create membership sites to drive recurring monthly income.
* You will have to build a high ticket coaching program of around $2000 per year to boost your overall profits.

The reason you will have to create high ticket products, membership sites and coaching program is because bulk of your profits will be made selling these 3 things. Your $27 e-books will only break even your advertising costs and will not generate huge revenue for you.
